SRINAGAR: Jammu and Kashmir reported 16 more covid-19 related deaths since last evening, taking the overall toll due to the virus to 3923, officials said on Tuesday. Seven of the fatalities were reported from Jammu division and nine from Kashmir Valley, the officials told.
SRINAGAR: At least 34 persons, including a 39-year-old woman, succumbed to covid-19 since last evening so far, taking the fatality count to 3001, officials said on Friday.
18 deaths were reported at GMC Jammu while sixteen persons died at various hospitals and make-shift facilities for covid-19 management in Kashmir Valley, the officials told.
Among others, they said, the victims include a 60-year-old from Gagoo Humhamma Budgam who died at SKIMS Bemina, 11 days after he was admitted to SKIMS Bemina.
A 65-year-old woman Nowgam Srinagar who died three days after she was admitted to the SKIMS Bemina facility, they said.
A 56-year-old man from Chake Badernath Pulwama died at SKIMS Soura, soon after he was admitted, they said.
SRINAGAR: Officials in Jammu and Kashmir said on Wednesday that 20 more covid-19-related deaths occurred overnight, bringing the total number of deaths from the virus to 2200, with more than 200 deaths this month alone.
They said seventeen deaths were reported from Kashmir and three from Jammu division, taking the fatality count to 2217 846 in Jammu and 1371 in the Valley. J-K has reported 219 deaths in April so far and include 109 from Jammu division and 110 from the Valley.
Regarding fresh fatalities, officials told GNS that an 82-year-old from Kishtawar, Asarabad who was admitted in a hospital on 24 April with bilateral CAP died last night.
