Over the past week, the volume of grain wagons unloaded in the ports of Greater Odesa and Izmail has increased, according to representatives of Ukrzaliznytsia.
According to the State Customs Service, as of May 3, Ukraine exported 41.607 mln tonnes of grains and pulses since the beginning of 2023/24 MY, including 242 thsd tonnes shipped in May, the press service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine reported.
As a result of the unblocking of the Polish-Ukrainian border in the last week of April, the state budget of Ukraine received UAH 2.5 bln, said Danylo Hetmantsev, chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Finance.
In April, Ukraine exported a record monthly volume of more than 13 mln tonnes, surpassing the figures for February 2022. In monetary terms, exports in April reached $3.3 bln, said Yulia Svyrydenko, Minister of Economy of Ukraine.
