The Wyoming Department of Health reported 10 additional COVID-19-related deaths among Wyoming residents on Tuesday. 786 Wyoming residents have died after contracting COVID-19 since the pandemic began. COVID hospitalizations rose to 87 on Tuesday in Wyoming hospitals, up from 73 on Monday, according to WDH data. That is the highest number of COVID patients in Wyoming hospitals since January 19.

The Wyoming Department of Health reported 98 new confirmed COVID-19 cases during their 3 p.m. Friday, July 23 update. The additional confirmed cases brought Wyoming’s total to 53,772 since the pandemic began. 12 additional probable cases were reported Friday, bringing the total to 10,479. There are 600 active confirmed cases in Wyoming. 179 of these are in Laramie County, along with 23 in Natrona County. Article continues below. Four new variant cases were reported on Friday; the number of COVID-19 cases identified as variants in the state rose to 1,438. Variant cases involve a mutated form of the virus and some may spread more easily or result in more serious illness.
