let s start with just yesterday. i think it s fair to say that this has been a most productive post-election period we ve had in decades and it comes on the heels of the most productive two years we ve had in generations. well, it ain t so lame, was it? no, not at all. he had a particular lame-duck legislative session and if you look at the two years of congressional achievements he has done a lot. he was entitled to brag as you pointed out. what happened to the republicans? they sort of hit the goal line and then dropped dead. did they come in, it was inhuber in huberrus? he was entitled to brag. the republicans, hit the goal line, then dropped dead. classic problem of life? thinking you re bigger than you were? it was a good set of issues for the president. after the election. had a couple of republicans who left. a couple of guys might have gotten fed up. these were kind of veteran republicans. people who used to be governors and used to care about legislating. grown
