On July 4, 2019, the city People s Committee issued Decision No. 17/2019/QD-UBND to promulgate the policy on attracting and developing experts, scientists and special talents in fields in which the city needs them in 2019-21.

Remake of Vietnamese classical opera play enthralls audience

A remake of the renowned Vietnamese classical opera play ‘Son Hau’ has been performed in a public space of an old terraced building in Van Chuong alley in downtown Hanoi. The play has enthralled both senior residents and youngsters as it is a cool combination of the traditional art form and contemporary art.
No fancy stage is set up. Actors perform an excerpt in the renowned Vietnamese classical opera play ‘Son Hau’ in the middle of a public playground. Here, the mossy wall becomes the backdrop while slide and stairs make a perfect setting for the play.
