Lieutenant Governor V K Saxena has approved an inquiry and special audit into the alleged misuse of government funds by the Delhi Commission for Protection of Child Rights (DCPCR). The Women and Child Development Department observed a significant increase in fund demands from DCPCR, from Rs 2 crore in 2017-18 to Rs 15.20 crore in the current financial year.
