“Currently, five projects are under progress, while 41 have been wrapped up. These five projects include upgradation of the Jawaharlal Nehru Planetarium building, construction of a multi-level car parking facility in the Gandhi Bazaar area, redevelopment of KR Market Centre building, renovation of the meat market, and the Integrated Command and Control Centre.

According to the officials, the facility is still in the trial stage and can go live only after the due procedure is followed, i.e. after the trial run. Earlier, BM had written that ICCC would be up and functional from August 24 as the trial period had started on July 24. ​

The BBMP’s health department tied up with IISc’s ARTPARK to develop an app that can help do away with the manual data-collection system. As of now the app can track and document dengue cases, conduct fever and larval surveys and help take immediate action. At a later stage, it would even be able to predict the hotspot zones. The app was piloted with 15 ASHA workers.
