Intel has announced the next version of its Intel Xe Super Sampling graphics technology, XeSS 1.3. The company claims it will boost frame rates in PC games and improve visual effects as well.

Intel released XeSS 1.3, which includes a more optimized training model, with improved performance and image quality. Also new are the Ultra Quality Plus and Native AA modes, plus some changes to the upscaling factors. All of these apply to both the XMX and DP4a modes of operation.
