40/29 Chief Meteorologist Darby Bybee says the winds will be strong Wednesday night into Thursday morning.

It will be a windy day today, but rain chances and record-high temperatures could be on the horizon.

Blustery conditions through midweek. Tidal flooding possible through Thursday and a big warm up just in time for the weekend.

Tuesday got off to a chilly start with early temperatures just below the freezing point. We'll see a big jump with temperatures climbing to the upper 50s and maybe even 60 degrees for some parts of Iowa. 

Blustery conditions through Wednesday. A nice warm up just in time to end the work week. A few spotty showers will be possible for the weekend.

A pretty quiet week on tap. Temperatures will trend in the mid 40s all the way to the mid 60s. Rain chances will remain low for the whole week.
