Union Agriculture Minister Arjun Munda has emphasized the need for more efforts from both sides to reach a consensus on issues affecting farmers in India. Munda is among the team of union ministers holding talks with farmer union leaders, including Food and Civil Supplies Minister Piyush Goyal and Minister of State Nityanand Rai. Munda highlighted the progress made in the horticulture sector under Prime Minister Narendra Modi s leadership, with grain production increasing by 333 million tonnes and vegetable cultivation being very good.
