Saturday was pretty toasty with temps warming up in most of our area. However, things will start to cool down making room for a low-end atmospheric river event lasting several days.

Sunday was a pretty nice day with warm temps in the interiors and coastal valleys. However, we have potential for light rain and windy conditions.

A warming trend taking place through at least Tuesday as high pressure aloft settles into southern California between Monday and Tuesday.

More sun and fewer clouds are expected to stay with us for the rest of today, and we may see a return of cool onshore flow Sunday and Monday.

What is in store for the first weekend of the summer? Warmer temps are coming to the interior valleys! Keep an eye out for breezy conditions and a sun-cloud mix near beaches and coastal valleys.

A persistent cycle of dense fog and cloudy skies is dominating the forecast in coastal communities. Inland areas are not letting go of those warm temperatures.
