A 50-year-old Singaporean man, Mohamed Kazali bin Salleh, was charged in court on July 19, 2021 for providing money for the purpose of facilitating terrorist acts. Kazali, a businessman based in Malaysia, was arrested by Malaysian Special Branch officers in December 2018, according to the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA).
