At least one bandit has been killed in an encounter by troops of Sector Four of Operation Whirl Punch and Special Forces of the 167 Battalion of the Nigerian Army when the troops cleared a bandit hideout in Kaduna State.   The News Agency of Nigeria reports that the Kaduna State Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Samuel Aruwan, confirmed the incident in a statement on Saturday.
