Going to be dry . A little while. Well see the rain waves and it is more scattered compared to yesterday when we saw this one wave rolling on through. So as we take a look at the wider view of the storm and come into the bay area, taking a look at storm ranger, our mobile Doppler Radar parked on san bruno mountain, we saw the live view and the heavier rain south of san bueno toward the east bay and into san leandro. So expect heavy downpours there. Look at how cool in sunol as the clouds roll bynd ominous over the city from belevedere toward san francisco, the close high waves along the with ocean beach showing the whitecaps with temperatures only at 46 degrees. The rain off and on today. Low elevation snow for areas like mt. Hamilton. Into the noon hour well see some areas dry and other areas getting pounded with rain and the responsibility the possibility of rain into the day. More into the evening commute and hitting the road, t ith pe south bay and farther tth ukiah. And once again

Fire. Reporter in the north bay its been hot and dry, but not windy. That absence of wind made a difference of residents. Tonight we are not worried about extreme weather conditions. Reporter by noon when the power was on, wheels had gone into motion or nonmotion for residents who lined up to fill their cars with gasoline in case the power did go down. I have work in a couple of hours. I was not wanting to do this right now. Reporter in preparation of a shut off the Emergency Center was open. The county prefers to be ready whatever happens and to hope for the best outcome. I think at the end of the day, if nothing happens, if that nothing includes no wildfire, thats what we keep telling people. Reporter so far nothing has happened, at least in those terms. Were not finished yet. The power will be on tonight, theres always the question of tomorrow and if those conditions are worse, all bets are off. We could be doing the same story all over again but with a different outcome. Thank you.
Every other participant on the fomc at least once per cycle. I think this arrangement i reserve banks around the country and seven governors guarantees that we will have a diverse view of perspectives around the table. The reserve Bank President s are chosen by their boards of directors who are largely privatesector people but with the approval of the board. I think this system guarantees a diversity of opinions. There is that risk of groupthink. If everyone went to the same schools, took the same professors we dont have that. We have people coming in every eight weeks with a different views, and i would not have it any other way. I spent a lot of years in the investment business. What you really want before you make an investment is to have the smartest person in the room try to explain why this is a bad idea. Not after you make the investment, but before. I place huge value on that. I have terrific colleagues on the fomc and i really do welcome all of that. It is a lot of consulting,
Windshields and possibly icy patches here and there. Generally speaking well have sunshine if we get rid of the lowlying cloud cover and sun comes in and we wind up with sun and clouds mix. 30 degrees in allentown. 26 in trenton. 29 in wilmington, 27 in reading, 26 in millville and Philadelphia Holding 36. As we go to the afternoon it will be milder, 35 degrees by 7 00. Noon, 46. 3 00 p. M. , 54 degrees, not a bad high, several degrees above average. 7 00 p. M. , 47. A couple of issues this morning, the first is the visibility you can see a lot of gray over the map. Actually this is a lower visibility down in millville than weve had so far this morning, wilmington dropping a bit. Ac low. Allentown, lowest of all. Lancaster is starting to drop. The issues is not so much wroo youve got the whether or not youve got the dense fog, wherever you see the gray close to the surface, you can see an icy patch. A heads up for drivers, patchy fog and icy windshields. Take it slow if you see the fog
