Nepal Army officer cadet awarded with prestigious Int l Sword of Honor in UK My Republica
Dec. 12 A second lieutenant of Nepal Army, Peter Thapa has been awarded with the prestigious International Sword of Honor for his excellent performance in Britain s Royal Military Academy Training in Sandhurst, UK.
According to Nepal Army Spokesperson Brigadier General Santosh Ballav Poudel, Second Lieutenant Thapa was awarded for the best performance among foreign army cadets undergoing officer cadet training at the UK s military training academy. A Nepal Army officer cadet has received an Overseas Sword for this sterling performance during the training, said Spokesperson Paudel.
