Congratulate him and then gets acquitteds and have three congressmen say, hey, come be an intern. its whether or not two men can chase a 25-year-old black man whos guilty of jogging in his neighborhood pretty much engage in a modern day lynching instead of calling the cops and claim on this end self-defense. its whether or not we allow george zimmerman, even though hes told by the dispatch, stay in your car, to hunt down a black kid whos guilty of walking in a hoodie and then he claims self-defe...

>> what you must also factor in is even when the george floyd murder happened, its come out some of the violence in minneapolis was done by right wingers who pretended to be burning down places in minneapolis that they were part of the movement and they were not, which means that now we can see people baiting violence to have a reaction to justify doing what rittenhouse got away with today. this is a very, very serious problem for activism because now were being told that someone can cross state...

>> malcolm talked about this getting main stream. the thing that concerns me is not just violence and democracy but members of congress, republican members of congress doing whole tweet threads offering this kid everything from internships to an opportunity to hang out with them at the house. you literally have members of congress saying forget an application, forget being a candy striper, who cares about your grades, go out and kill people in the name of white supremacy and you can get an inter...

Protesters or anyone who stands up on behalf of civil rights? >> well, thats the chilling concern and worry about this. i was never for the open carry law. we have far too many guns as it is in our society. again, rittenhouse got off with some technicality how the state statute was written that allowed him to have this ar-15, this underage would-be safety patrol officer. i wonder if this is not going to spread. and where is zerlina, ive heard and i have seen that the so-called second amendment c...

Yesterday. >> now were being told that someone can cross state lines with a semiautomatic rifle and kill people and say its self-defense and they have this case to cite as saying that im like rittenhouse. lets remember, rittenhouse is now being offered internships by members of congress, like hes some hero. >> charles, do you think hes right, and could we see future examples of so called vigilante justice? >> good morning, lindsey, i do think that there is a concern about how this plays out with...

You should do is fight to change that. to make the system more equitable and equal and fair for all. >> you write about all of this in your excellent book as well. >> there are some republican politicians latching on to kyle rittenhouse and a few, very few, but a few far right members of congress have said theyll offer him internships. what does it say to you that hes being held up potentially as a hero on the right? >> i think that people will stoop to anything these days. if they -- in order t...

Week i am going to offer him a congressional internship f. the criteria is that you have to show that you hang out with the proud boys, there is video of you punching a girl in the face that you have been radicalizes on line to think that white supremacy is okay, then lets pray for congressional internships from here forward. dont be surprised if you see rittenhouse walking the halls of congress or being pulled out to campaign stops for various officials. this is where we are today. add to it th...
