CHESTER COUNTY, PA More than $14 million in state funding for transportation infrastructure projects in Chester County has been approved.
Gov. Tom Wolf today announced the approval of 116 new projects statewide through the Multimodal Transportation Fund (MTF). The Governor s office said the funding is to improve Pennsylvania s transportation infrastructure toward safer, more reliable transportation across the commonwealth. The projects total more than $48 million in funding.
Chester County projects include improvements to the airport, trail and sidewalk improvements, and roadway upgrades.

COLORADO SPRINGS â The city of Colorado Springs is planning another project for 30th Street from Fontanaro Street up to Mesa Road.
Before the 2C paving season begins, the City is planning to make intersection improvements that will happen at Water Street and Mesa Road. In addition, a roundabout has been scheduled to be installed at Gateway Road leading into the Garden of the Gods. That segment of 30th was identified for 2C paving, said Corey Farkas, Colorado Springs Public Works Operations and Maintenance Division Manager. And, in coordination efforts with city engineering, they said that they had bigger plans for the area.
