ROTARIANS in the Musselburgh area are continuing their campaign to provide life-saving defibrillators for use in medical emergencies in the community. Recent additions have included equipment outside the Day-Today store in Wallyford and Inveresk Lodge Gardens, a National Trust for Scotland attraction at Inveresk. This brings the total number of defibrillators supplied by the Rotary Club of Musselburgh to five. They are devices that give a high-energy electric shock to the heart of someone who is in cardiac arrest. Two further units will be provided, one in the Stoneyhill area and another at a location which is yet to be decided.
