Bees can now be considered fish under the Endangered Species Act
On Monday, May 31, a court ruled that bumblebees can piggyback off the technical definition of fish, which now qualifies them to be listed under the California Endangered Species Act. This ruling reversed a previous decision that denied that distinction in 2020.
