Students at Margie Stoneman Douglas High School expected to return to class as early as wednesday following the deadly shooting that took place there less than two weeks ago. An orientation was held yesterday where students and parents returned to the school for the First Time Since the attack that killed 17 students and staff members. The fbi and local authorities now facing more criticism in the wake of that attack. According to the New York Times, less than six weeks before the shooting, a woman who knew the gunman said on the fbis tip line, i know hes going to explode. Mean wile, the brawl ard county Sheriffs Office is investigating why three of its deputies apparently remained outside the school during the shooting. don t we re not going to pay attention to what the president says, we re going to focus on what he does, even though we don t read the tweets, not that nixon tweeted. they said, this is an unacceptable way for the president, who has taken an oath to preserve and protect the constitution and has a duty to take care that the laws be faithfully executed, this is an unacceptable fashion for the president to engage with an investigation of, among other things, his white house and himself. and that is one of the articles of impeachment against richard nixon. and i want to be specific about that bottom line, because what happens with nixon is that it does end up being part of the articles of impeachment against him. but we know in part because of documents that were unsealed because of litigation that you were part of to get this unsealed, we know this was not a matter that congress became interested in, these are all things that prosecutors, special
