A new exhibition at London’s V&A museum features some 200 pieces from the V&A’s collection, the Palais Galliera fashion museum in Paris and the heritage collections of the Chanel itself.

Princess Beatrice will have been intrigued to see one small item at the current Chanel exhibition in London - a letter from her own grandmother, the late Queen Elizabeth II .

This exhibition is the UK’s first dedicated solely to Gabrielle ‘Coco’ Chanel, the iconic French couturiere, who redefined the art of fashion.
