(UPDATE) THREE major dams in Luzon, including the Ipo Dam in Norzagaray, Bulacan, have been releasing excess water as continuous rain raised their water level to almost full.

THE Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) warned residents in low-lying areas in Quezon City and Camanava (Caloocan, Malabon, Navotas and Valenzuela cities) to prepare for floods as the La Mesa Dam is close to overflowing.

THE La Mesa Dam in Quezon City is close to spilling over, threatening massive flooding in parts of Metro Manila and outlying areas, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) warned Sunday.
