Late today, this is a live picture outside norman, oklahoma. Tornadoes have been menacing Oklahoma Kansas, and nebraska. This is the live picture here. One of the largest storms weve seen so far had a tornado that touched down a short time ago in clark county, oklahoma. There are no reports of serious damage or injuries yet but this is an unfolding situation. Were going to go now to mike betas of the weather who is track the storms for us. It looks like the storm threat will continue through the evening across multiple states from texas all the way up through nebraska. We had dramatic images come out of kansas today and Storm Chasers captured it all up close. Eventually lofting debris up into the air including multiple roofs. We we have had tornadoes touch down. Damage in some of the suburbs damage to homes damage to mobile homes sp a lot of damage to trees that have been uproaded, power lines that have been knocked down as well. It looks like the threat will continue well past dark tonight as the storms push north and east across typical tornado alley. May is the prime month for tornadoes in the heartland here and in places like abilene texas, or dallas could be impacted.
