Iraq's Security Media Cell announced on Sunday that four ISIS terrorists were killed in a precise air strike in Diyala, northeast of Baghdad. The operation, carried out by the Iraqi Air Force utilizing F-16 aircraft, targeted and destroyed important hideouts in al-Qubba in the Al-Waqf area in Diyala Governorate. Following the airstrike, a security force arrived to inspect the targeted area and discovered four bodies of ISIS terrorists and a cache of destroyed weapons and equipment.
Iraq marked the 101st anniversary of its Army Day on Thursday, as soldiers decorated their vehicles with colorful ribbons and balloons, and decorated their uniforms with the Iraqi flag to celebrate the event.

BAGHDAD, Jan. 6 (Xinhua) Iraq on Wednesday marked its 100th anniversary of Army Day, as the Iraqi forces held a military parade in the heavily fortified Green Zone in central Baghdad.
The parade was held with the presence of Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa al-Kadhimi, who is also Commander-in-Chief of Iraqi forces, as well as Iraqi ministers, military commanders, and representatives of diplomatic missions in Iraq.
Formations of ground, air, and naval forces, as well as tanks and other military vehicles marched in the parade, while formations of warplanes and helicopters flew overheads in Grand Festivities Square.
