The mob, led by the supporters of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam party (Fazal ur Rehman group), ptotesting the expansion work of the temple, demolished the newly constructed work alongside the old structure.

According to Marwat, protesting the expansion work of the temple, the mob demolished the newly constructed work alongside the old structure. Neither any case has been registered and nor any arrest made so far in the incident.  Pakistan s federal Parliamentary Secretary for Human Rights Lal Chand Malhi strongly condemned the vandalisation of the temple by some anti-social elements . Noting that some groups are active in carrying out such anti-social activities to defame Pakistan, Malhi said the government will not tolerate such incidents.
