US Irish Consul, Robbie Hull: "Ireland's Place in the 21st Century" Irish Consul Robbie Hull will honor the Irish Cultural Society of San Antonio at their June 11 meeting with a talk on "Ireland's Place in the 21st Century: 100 years of Ireland in the world." The discussion will highlight the significant anniversaries for Ireland in 2023, including the 25th Anniversary of the Good Friday Agreement and the 50th Anniversary of Ireland joining the EU." Irish Heritage Day 2023 - Sponsored by The Irish Cultural Society of San Antonio Irish Heritage Day (IHD), sponsored by The Irish Cultural Society of San Antonio, is a family event, now in its 29th year and is free and open to the public. There will be a free Irish High Tea and a program from noon to 5 pm which includes a Celtic piper, live folk music, storytelling, Irish dancing, info on Celtic and Irish culture and events. A raffle will conclude the day. The entertainment program, Irish High Tea, vendors, and info market are all indoors in the same large community center.
