Earlier, Vikram lander lifted-off approximately 40 meters and landed successfully again on the lunar surface a few meters away. Calling it a signifcant milestone for future human missions, ISRO released a video and some images regarding the experiment. 

The new orbit attained is 245km x 22459 km. "The satellite is healthy and operating nominally," the space agency said.

The Aditya-L1 Mission will be launched from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota at 11:50 AM IST.

Chandryaan-3 landed on the south pole of the Moon at 6:03 PM on Wednesday.

Chandrayaan-2 encountered a high-velocity landing due to accumulated errors on its sensors. Chandrayaan-3s design focuses on mitigating this concern through improved control mechanisms. Chandrayaan-2 grappled with challenges during the landing process, where engine thrust exceeded expectations. Chandrayaan-3 emphasises precise engine thrust dispersion to prevent error accumulation.
