New Westlake pizzaria Sammataro expands hours in the new year
After launching the Sammataro in Lost Creek in early December, owner Issac Flores has big plans for 2021. The wood-fired pizza food trailer will be expanding its hours in the new year.
In January, the truck will be open Wednesdays through Sundays from 3 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. In February, the truck will expand to serve weekend lunches, opening at noon on Saturdays and Sundays.
Flores said Sammataro’s launch this month was a success. The pizzeria has been opened at 1158 Lost Creek Boulevard and has attracted a steady stream of customers. Since the soft launch in early December, Flores has hired two new employees, expanding the staff to five, and is looking at possibly hiring more.
