An Indian-American family of four, including two children, was found dead in their San Mateo, California home. Two victims had gunshot wounds, while the others cause of death is unknown. The BMRCL recorded a ridership of 70,120 commuters travelling from Baiyappanahalli to Whitefield out of the total 6,53,397 ridership on Tuesday. On the first day of service, the stretch saw a ridership of 61,179 commuters. Before the connection between the Baiyappanahalli and KR Pura stations, the ridership on the stretch was a mere 28,000.
