TVKIDS Sydney to the Max Tackles Microaggressions in New Episode The Disney Channel daughter/father comedy series Sydney to the Max, now in its third season, is set to explore the social impact of microaggressions in an upcoming episode. In the episode, entitled “Do the Write Thing,” Sydney suspects her teacher has assigned everyone in her class historical figures to write about based on their race. Sydney talks to her classmates, who confirm her suspicions and explain their discomfort with the assignments before agreeing it’s time to stand up for themselves, electing Sydney as their spokesperson to talk to their teacher.

Ruth Righi's 'Sydney to the Max' Returns for Season 3 in March

Disney Channel set a return date for the hit daughter/father comedy “ Sydney to the Max.” The series will start Season 3 on March 19th, on Disney Channel and DisneyNOW, following a new episode of the hit comedy “Raven’s Home.” The series stars Ruth Righi as the title character Sydney, Ian Reed Kesler as Max, Caroline Rhea as Judy Reynolds (in both decades), Ava Kolker as Sydney’s best friend Olive, Jackson Dollinger as young Max, and Christian J. Simon as young Max’s best friend, Leo. The comedy, for Kids 6-11 and their families, will follow the ongoing adventures and life-lessons of Sydney and her friends, along with Young Max and Leo in the ’90s, as she embarks on eighth grade. The network stated that Sydney will “take on challenging and relevant issues such as struggles with cultural identity, trying to fit in, coping with divorce and the impact of microaggressions.”

Netflix Releases 'Shadow and Bone' and 'Who Killed Sara?' The series will examine the evolution of QAnon in real-time and reveal how the anonymous figure known only as “Q” uses conspiracy theories and information warfare to game the internet, hijack politics, and manipulate people’s thinking. Additionally, “Q: Into the Storm” will examine QAnon’s influence on American culture and question the consequences of unfettered free speech permeating the darkest corners of the internet. HBO did not release information on from whom the docuseries comes, but you can watch a teaser below.
