Dino Safari, Onondaga Lake bird walk, racing at Fulton Speedway: 17 things to do in CNY

With weather forecasts promising a long overdue warm up, Central New Yorkers should be able to get outside and enjoy some fun, spring activities this weekend.
You can learn about Onondaga Lake bird species on a bird walk, visit a pop-up food truck event at the Inner Harbor, participate in the monthly Folksmarch at Breitbeck Park, and take in some exciting auto racing and demolition derbies at Fulton Speedway.
The Fairgrounds will be having a Dino Safari dinosaur drive-thru show and the family favorite baseball movie, “The Sandlot” will be shown on the big screen.

ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) – Ithaca College Theatre and the School of Music invites the public to experience a modern reimagining of Mozart’s operatic masterpiece, “The Magic Flute.”
Rather than using the same story, Director Ellen Jackson hopes this reimagining will reveal what the classic work can teach us about how we live in today’s world.
In accordance with current state Covid-19 guidelines and campus protocols, two performances of “The Magic Flute” have been recorded and will be streamed online for free.
