Four Landing Spots For RB Giovani Bernard Giovani Bernard | Michael Reaves/Getty Images Giovani Bernard is a latecomer to free agency after the Cincinnati Bengals requested he take a pay cut. Bernard was not interested, and thus he was released today by the only team hes ever known. Gio Bernard asked for his release and the #Bengals granted it, source says. The team had asked him to take a pay cut two weeks into free agency, which hurt his chances of landing elsewhere. But hes expected to fin...

Cleveland rocks the leagues most feared backfield. Hunt and Chubb were dominant in their first full season together, which was also their first under Browns coach Kevin Stefanski, who cut his teeth scheming up plays for Dalvin Cook. Chubb enjoyed a Cook-esque season in 2020, running for 1,067 yards in 12 games, averaging 1.75 RYOE/attempt (second in the NFL) and scoring a career-high 12 TDs en route to a Pro Bowl nod. When a player set to hit free agency has a successful season and helps himself on the open market, its a headline item. Contract-year downswings dont get the same attention. It comes after Ledbetter got the first full sack of his career against the Lions. The Buccaneers have already clinched a playoff berth but will now be playing for s...

Posted December 27, 2020  |  By Chris Mueller There will not be an 0-16 team. The Jets stunned the Rams in one of the biggest point-spread upsets in NFL history. Not that their fans are happy about it, nor should they be. Now the Jaguars have the inside track in the Trevor Lawrence sweepstakes, and theyre playing "better" in that way right now, having just been throttled by the Ravens, 40-14. Week 15s only matchup between winning teams, the Chiefs and the Saints, lived up to t...
