Sticks much more, the president is sewing real doubt and successfully sewing doubt not only about the mueller investigation, but confidence in the department of justice or the fbi or whatever institution it may be. >> yeah, and theres a broader pattern here, anderson. you and i have talked about this before, that when the president faces opposition, doesnt argue the facts of the case. he tries to delegitimize the opposition, attacking their very validity to have any view on this whatsoever. th...

Along the way. he was told this was happening, and people are questioning and they are imputing his integrity and his motive today. and im talking about and because in the fever swamps, and in travel battle, people want to paint this like he is a secret loretta lynch-hillary clinton-obama partisan, fighting to cover up a corrupt fbi. hes doing this because he knows what president trump is doing is what senator warner describes. hes launching an assault on the intelligence community and law enfor...

News flash, the election was 437 days ago. the sitting president is still harping on an election and calling for an investigation into his former opponent? this should not be normalized. and all of this, these tweets, these attacks, its all political. remember what rudy giuliani told dana bash this weekend, it is all about dragging mueller through the mud in the court of public opinion. >> were defending to a large extent, remember, dana, were defending here, it is for public opinion because eve...

Exactly as he told lesley stahl, in order that no one will believe him. if the ig does the investigation that hes calling for, when the ig says there was nothing there, there was no one implanted, this was a legitimate investigation, the supporters of donald trump will reject that, even though they accepted the igs report when he had negative things to say about mr. mccabe. so its not fair. i dont know where the fairness is in this. but its working, and donald trump is going to keep on doing it ...
