Bulgaria: First Lady to Undergo Surgery for Cerebral Aneurysm - Novinite com

President Rumen Radev s wife, Desislava, will undergo surgery today because of the serious condition she is in after it became clear that she had three aneurysms in her brain, reported sources from the St.Ivan Rilski hospital, where the First Lady was admitted for treatment. The president s wife had a severe headache, but apparently did not pay serious attention to this symptom and even accompanied Radev on Monday night to a movie screening dedicated to the anniversary of the National Palace of Culture. Neither the hospital staff nor the president‘s office have officially commented on the news of Desislava Radeva’s severe health condition.

President Radev’s wife Desislava Radeva was admitted to hospital with an aneurysm. The First Lady has had a severe headache since Friday night, but apparently didn t pay much attention to the symptoms. However, her condition deteriorated severely yesterday evening and overnight she was taken to St. Ivan Rilski hospital in Sofia. She immediately underwent a full range of tests and was found to have a cerebral aneurysm. Doctors are yet to decide whether she should undergo surgery to avoid a more serious condition or medication will suffice. The hospital has so far refused to give out information about the First Lady.

Some people lined up as early as 8 a.m. Older people from the queue were vaccinated with priority. Lack of organization, however, has created turmoil. People from the non-priority groups also had a chance to have a vaccine shot at Alexandrovska Hospital. And there the lines were divided - for the young and for adults over 65. Both sites will work until vaccine quantities are exhausted. The St. Ivan Rilski hospital reported that they have run short of vaccines already. The site will resume work after a reload, the medical institution explains.
