The annual meeting of the Aransas County Partnership Economic Development Corporation (ACPEDC) was held Friday, Jan. 29 at the Rockport Country Club. Aransas County commissioners, at their regular meeting Monday, Jan. 25, denied with a 3-1 vote supporting a Sales Tax Exemption Initiative for the Rockport Cultural Arts District (RCAD). Aransas County Judge C.H. “Burt” Mills voted to support the initiative. Commissioners Wendy Laubach, Pat Rousseau, and Bubba Casterline voted not to support it.
