Chico High wrestler Ryan Clink became the fifth wrestler to continue wrestling at the Division I level under Panthers head coach Keith Rollins when Clink signed his letter of intent with Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.
Clink, competing at 165 pounds, led the Panthers to a 23rd place finish out of 235 teams competing. Clink finished in fifth place at 165 pounds, the first top-5 finisher for Chico since Nahshon Garrett won two straight state championships in 2010 and 2011 at 103 pounds.

The Chico High girls team finished first with 166 points, followed by Pleasant Valley (127), Red Bluff (85), Shasta (44), Enterprise (28) and Foothill (28).
