Werejoined by the host of the Conflict Podcast, lyse doucet, from jerusalem. And here in the studio is the bbc security correspondent frank gardner. So lets get on with the questions. This is camille from australia and my questions about all the aid trucks, because i knowjust before this conflict started, there was a lot of discussion about us funding and aid to ukraine, and now theres a lot of trucks amassed at the egypt border. | was this aid that was already destined to go into gaza . Cos ive also heard reports that there was aid going in already, but not as much as now. So, just a note on how Thisl Manoeuvring had happened and if one affects the other. The bbc s chief international correspondent, whos in southern israel. Also our international editor, jeremy bowen, who is injerusalem. Now, we dont know how events in gaza and israel will unfold in the coming hours, much less days. But as soon as hamas attacked on october 7th, there was no doubt that israel would respond. Israels military has warned civilians in gaza to keep moving south for their own safety, as it prepares to increase pressure on hamas, which is designated a Terrorist Origanisation by the uk, us and other western governments. The Israeli Defence forces said one of its aircraft also targeted a mosque in the palestinian city ofjenin, in the occupied west bank. Israel says the mosque was used by a hamas cell as a base to plan and execute attacks against civilians. Earlier, the uns humanitarian chief told the bbc that the handful of aid trucks heading into gaza was not enough. The crossing is on the egyptian border and is the only route not bordering israel which means its cu
