Electric scooters have arrived in downtown Jacksonville. Here s how you can use them. Downtowners can now scoot around standing on two wheels after four companies were awarded city permits to operate fleets of shared electric scooters. Operating under a new city ordinance, the e-scooters can be rented and dropped off from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily at 35 designated corrals across downtown Jacksonville. The four Dockless Mobility Program Vendors are Blue Duck, Helbiz, LINK and SPIN, each operating 100 electric scooters within a downtown Dockless Mobility Zone. The companies operate similar e-scooter and electric bicycle rentals in dozens of cities nationwide. Jacksonville is Blue Duck s first Florida market.
