During theribes elections tuesday a majority of tribal citizens voted in a referendum voicing their favor of legalizing marijuana for medical, recreational, and industrial use, the newly elected councilmen will now begin weighing out the reservations options to ensure the tribe is in compliance with federal regulations. We took that guidance and correspondance like other tribes have. If we do puruse any other opportunites with marijuana, how do we best nt to do that . And with our tribe we realized it was best to ask our people, what do they want to do first . Said vernon miller, tribal chairman.
