Incredible moment of faith and love and strength. he has a responsibility, jacob, to recognize his role in all of this. what im going to tell that crowd is that we will be is the turning point for the country. we have to be. but in order to do that, we have to demand accountability. we cant be a prop. we cant be an accessory. we have to say, mr. president, your words harmed us. your words dehumanized us. and you have an opportunity to take this pain and take this target away. and you do that by ...

Much as they can. those companies -- >> they got all the data in the world. >> they are our collective unconscious. you could study all kinds of things if that were a free and open way of doing it with researchers. but they cant. for me, its the fact that theres not a neutral third party. whether its the epa or any of these other cases, you know, theres a real war on expertise. there doesnt seem to be a neutral expertise involved in these meetings anymore. >> jacob, thank you as always. a walm...

In an online way? can we look at this as a stream of ideologically based terrorism. white nationalists inspired terrorism. that would be a significant move. it may suggest behind the scenes in the government theyre going much more broadly at this. >> barbara, you work as a terrorism prosecutor. i have a two-part question for you. what are prosecutors looking at when theyre trying to prove a domestic terrorism case, for example, in this case, what were seeing in gilroy and in el paso and why wasn...

That as being a license to go out and act on what he says, and he never takes any responsibility for it. i think that was one of the stronger points of what joe biden was saying, look, this is not just about talk at this point, right? were seeing the dangers of this. were seeing the threats he provides. this is what we talked initially about charlottesville. one thing i have to say, and i think this is really, really critical, one of the things joe biden captures in his speech and every single c...

Channelling what he sees as the feelings of not only his constituents, but neighbors and friends, people who in my experience in el paso have always been warm, welcoming. it is a far cry, a totally different scene than the way that the president describes this place as dangerous, drug infested, feeling like theres an infestation. it just isnt what happens in the city of el paso. i think that is why so many people are, to put it mildly, less than interested in the president coming here today in t...

Just made people here hurt and wounded literally and angry, but he has hurt and angered latinos across this country. and i think because of the fact that this was an explicitly political and ethnic mass murder, for lack of a better word, the el paso massacre is putting great deals -- a great deal of pressure on our political leadership, whether its in washington or in austin or lots of other places from california to miami. reports are coming in from coast-to-coast about latinos being fearful an...

Constituency of this city and city of el paso for a long time. it was a long time before this incident, this white supremacist terrorist attack happened on saturday. is there a way to get beyond this while donald trump is still in the oval office? >> we have a long journey, jacob. there are still people who feel fear, young people who have told me i never realized that the color of my skin made me a target. because were in this beautiful bubble here in el paso where we just love each other, wher...
