A Pageland man was sentenced to eight years in prison this week for his role in a May 17, 2020 daylight shootout between rival gangs on Ocean Boulevard in Myrtle Beach. Anthony Griffin, 20, of Pageland, pleaded guilty in February 2022, to a charge of assault and battery of a high nature, and must serve at least 85% of his sentence.
