6 NC, 2 Congress Councillors join hands to form DDC at Ramban

JAMMU, Jan 2: The recently elected Councillors of the National Conference and the Congress in Ramban district today resolved to join hands and form the District Development Council in the larger interest of the development in the area and to strengthen the secular forces, as per urges and aspirations of the people.
Soon after arriving at the decision, the six Councillors of the National Conference Dr Shamshad Shan, Shamim Akhter, Sakhi Mohammed, Gulshan Parveen, Jagveer Dass and Mohammed Shafi Zargar and the two Councillors of the Congress Imtiyaz Ahmed Khandey and Bashir Ahmed Naik, led by the district presidents of the respective parties, called on Provincial President Devender Singh Rana here and pledged to work for respecting the mandate of the people.
