BANGOR, Wis. (WKBT)–Bangor was victorious in the battle of top teams in the Scenic Bluffs, handing Cashton their first loss of the season.
The Cardinals held on to a 5 point lead going into the second half, before expanding it to 11 thanks to a high-powered offense led by Hank Reader.
But the Eagles cut that lead down to 2, thanks to a run sparked by Aiden Cook.
Despite the late surge, the Eagles couldn’t regain the lead, and fell to Bangor late thanks to hot shooting from Reader and Tanner Jones.
