Drumming and Strumming for Shanklin Theatre. TELEVISION stars and Island musicians are among the line up for a virtual charity concert in aid of Shanklin Theatre. Drumming and Strumming will star musician Paul Armfield, Isle of Wight blues band Black Daniels, It Ain’t Half Hot Mum star Melvyn Hayes and John Challis, who played Boycie in Only Fools and Horses. The concert, organised to raise money for the theatre, will premiere on Facebook and YouTube, on Thursday, April 22.

West Sligo native and contemporary harpist, BRÍDÍN, says she is delighted with the release of her new EP, titled Ocean of Stars.
She carries on the traditions of unique skills and talents passed down through her family. The musician is fourth generation of her family to play Irish music and she plays harp, flute, piano, and dances sean nós.
She said: I m so excited to have this EP out, as I ve been working on it for a while now getting it right. I ve met so many incredible musicians along the way that I m lucky to have worked with on my music. I couldn t be more pleased with the result!
