Jake Eccleston (above) set new 4A state meet records in the 200 IM and 100 breaststroke, defending his titles in both events.

"It was a great meet for Jake," Windsor coach Trevor Timmons said. "Three of his four swims were lifetime PRs (personal records). His 100 breaststroke was just off his fastest club time."

Spooner finished the race with a time of 1-minute, 42.11 seconds, while lowering his time in the event from his preliminary swim earlier in the day.

Eccleston owns a lifetime best in the 100 breast (53.52) that's more than a second under the CHSAA record.
