Plymouth loses in District 10 Legion baseball semifinals to Bridgewater
Wicked Local
It started to feel like some of those old-school Jason and Freddy horror flicks. Every time Plymouth Post 40 had Bridgewater Post 203 down Monday night in the District 10 Legion baseball semifinals, they’d pop right back up and fight a little more.
Twice Post 203 trailed by a run and was down to its final out, once in the bottom of the seventh and again in the 10th, but both times they fought off elimination to win 5-4 and advance to Tuesday’s championship game to face the winner of Monday night’s game between Wareham and East Bridgewater.

Zone 10 South Legion baseball title came down to a final game

PLYMOUTH – Plymouth Post 40 and Bridgewater Post 203 Legion baseball teams will play each other for the third time in five days Thursday at 5:30 p.m. on a baseball diamond still to be determined in Plymouth. The difference this time is the game is for the Zone 10 South championship.
Post 203 forced the winner-take-all game Tuesday night with a convincing 10-2 win over Plymouth at Siever Field. They jumped out early with five runs before Post 40 had a chance to step to the plate. Jack Barry slugged a three-run home run to ignite the rally. Bridgewater plated two more runs later in the frame when Jake Prisco’s hard grounder to short caromed off the shin of a sliding Dylan Zemotel and into the outfield as two more runs scored.
