The Wildcats prevailed in a thriller over Yallourn Yallourn North, defeating the Jets on their home turf by three points 11.5 (71) to 10.8 (68).
Woodside has well and truly taken its supporters on an emotional rollercoaster this season, as six out of 10 matches have resulted in single figure margins.
The Jets and Wildcats could not be separated in the first quarter, but the visitors were able to go into the main break with a handy 11-point lead after kicking three goals to one in the second.
