CAMERON HIGHLANDS: It will be two years before the Orang Asli residents of Kampung Sungai Ruil can return to their settlement, after they were ordered to vacate following a landslide in October last year.
GUA MUSANG: About 50 Orang Asli from the Temiar tribe in Kampung Bujuk, Pos Bihai, had to build a temporary shed on a hill after their settlement was encroached by wild elephants.
PUTRAJAYA: Victims of the Oct 12 landslide in Sungai Ruil, Cameron Highlands, which involved 17 Orang Asli families, will be placed in several government and statutory body quarters nearby by early next month.
GUA MUSANG: Farmers from four Orang Asli settlements in Pos Belatim are grappling with the destructive incursions of wild elephants which are damaging and eating their crops.
