Byron gears up for season, sets the bar high for 2021

BYRON, Minn. - This winter has been difficult for athletes across Minnesota but now they’re finally able to enjoy the game they love. Practices began on Monday and games are allowed to begin on January 14.
Byron hopes to build off the potential it showed last season and the players are ecstatic to be back in the gym.
“It’s been really exciting. I think we’re all kind of missing not having basketball season. It’s such a family sport,” Jakob Braaten said.

KIMT NEWS 3 SPORTS – 2020 is officially behind us and we get to start with a clean slate. Last year had a lot of growing pains that turned into life lessons. KIMT News 3 asked several area teams how they will be able to take their experiences from 2020 and apply them to this new year.
