Our Correspondent Imphal, Sep. 20 (EMN): The Union Minister of State for Food Processing Industries and Jal Shakti Prahlad Singh Patel on Tuesday visited Chandel district to look into the Aspirational Districts Programme (ADP) and review developmental works undertaken from ground level at Penaching village. The Union minister also visited Chandel District Hospital and the COVID-19 vaccination centre and interacted with doctors and staff. Singh Patel reached Manipur on Sep. 19 to attend various programmes as part of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday celebration. On Tuesday, the Union minister also inspected the food processing site at Liwa Khullen in Chandel district and interacted with the local people besides attending a review meeting about the development of the Central Scheme under the Jal Jeevan Mission and Swachh Bharat Mission at the Deputy Commissioner(Chandel)’s office premises.
